About Me...
I am very pleased to begin my first year as part of the RMCA family. I am very excited to be working with the middle school students, parents, and teachers. As your school counselor, I am here to assist students and their families with addressing any social /emotional concerns that may inhibit a student’s academic success. This includes, but is not limited to, the following activities:
How students can contact me at school...
Students at RMCA have several options available to access the counselor. Students can make a request to see the counselor through their classroom teacher or be referred by a parent/guardian, teacher or school administrator. Students also have a new option this school year which allows for more confidentiality called counselor mail. Counselor mail consists of a secured mailbox with self referral forms which are located at the end of each of the school's hallways. Students simply complete this form and place it in the lock box. The box is checked several times throughout the school day to ensure that student needs are met in a timely manner.
How parents/guardians can contact me...
Parents/guardians are always welcome to contact me with any concerns regarding their student. This can be done by setting up an appointment to speak in person or contact me by email or phone. My contact information is listed below:

- Individual counseling
- Small group counseling
- Classroom guidance
- Crisis response or emergency situations
- Attend and participate in academic intervention meetings
- Character Education
- Consultation and collaboration with parents, teachers, administrators, and students
- Provide information and resources to parents on a variety of issues
